Message	Before coming to work at Z1 I ran an auto parts & performance parts shop that dealt mostly in circle track racing parts and we went through a lot of brands of filters examining their inner workings. I've personally cut open K&N, Fram, Amsoil, Wix, Purolator, and most store brand filters to see how they were constructed. The Fram filters (even their racing filters) were made up of a cardboard filter media with a piece of string tied around it to hold it together. The K&N, Wix, Purolator, and Amsoil filters were far superior to those in construction. Actually, I sold a private label brand named Group 7 that was made by Purolator and those were excellent filters at a dirt cheap price.
